What Makes Eakin Outstanding

Students are instructed at their level and guided towards reaching their full potential. All students participate in our building-wide discipline program - Eakin Eagle Traits. This includes our 6 Pillars of Character which guides our students' growth as community members. The pillars are Responsibility, Self Discipline, Courage, Respect, Honesty, and Courteous. Eakin has been recognized as a PBIS SILVER Awards school. Parents are invited to quarterly programs to recognize the student celebration of learning.

Our vision for Eakin Elementary School family and community is one in which all learners, both children and adults, grow and succeed in the 21st century.  We celebrate the diversity of cultures and value individual differences. We work to support our learners and expect the very best, because our students are capable and we believe in them.

100% of Eakin Students will read at grade level by the end of the 3rd grade, prepared to transition to reading to learn by the end of 5th grade.
